Andrew McGrath is a recording engineer, musician, and project manager residing in Philadelphia, PA.  A lifelong musician, Andrew has played the violin since he was nine years old, and studied the piano for many years.  Andrew studied violin at the University of Colorado, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Music, with an emphasis in recording engineering.  He had the great fortune to study recording engineering with Bill Porter, a famous American recording engineer who recorded many of the Elvis Presley and Roy Orbison hits in the 1960s and 1970s.  Andrew also worked as an intern at KCNC television in Denver, Colorado, and at the Record Plant in Los Angeles, California.


From 1993-1996, Andrew worked as a sound engineer and project manager at Cimarron International, a multimedia company in Denver, Colorado.  In 1996 he moved to the Philadelphia area, and pursued a career in project management, eventually focusing on health care information services.  He currently works as a Senior Project Manager at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
